1. Data controller

2. What personal data we collect

When you send a project brief or contact us: full name, email address, and — if you provide it — phone number and any details you choose to share about your project.
When you place an order: full name, email address, phone number, billing address, and — if applicable — a NIF/CIF or EU VAT number. We do not collect or store payment card data (see §5).
When you browse the site: only with your consent, anonymised/aggregated analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (see our Cookie Policy for full detail).

3. Why we process your data (legal basis)

To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or proposal — legitimate interest in running our business and responding to enquiries you’ve initiated.
To process and fulfil an order you place — performance of a contract with you.
To comply with tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation under Spanish law.
To understand site usage, only where you’ve consented — consent, revocable at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with:

The form-submission or order-notification service that delivers your enquiry or order to the studio (a data processor acting on our instructions).
Google, as the provider of Google Analytics 4, only if you’ve consented to analytics cookies.
Spanish tax authorities, where legally required for invoicing.

No personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA except where the above providers do so under an adequate legal safeguard (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses), consistent with GDPR Chapter V.

5. Payment data

The payment step on this website currently operates in demonstration mode — no real transaction is processed and no card data (card number, expiry, CVC) is stored, transmitted, or retained anywhere by us. If a live payment provider is introduced in future, this policy will be updated to name it before it goes live.

6. How long we keep your data

Enquiry/brief data: kept for as long as needed to respond and, where a project proceeds, for the duration of that project plus applicable legal retention periods.
Order/billing data: kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally up to 6 years for accounting records).
Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics 4’s standard retention settings, only while you’ve consented.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and Spain’s LOPDGDD, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email support@starscustomdesign.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
